Published in 1891 for The English Illustrated magazine, The Frogmousiad was a translation of the Batrachmyomachia, ( which was a parody of the Homeric Epic, probably written in the fifth century BC by Pigres of Halicarnassus, using mice and frogs as the main combatants.) by Rev. Dr. H. Kynaston and illustrated by Louis Wain.

Comprising of only nine pages, the story was edited in order to flow properly in eBook format which is available from the Amazon link at the top of the page, or you can read it HERE, laid out in the almost same way as it was originally published.
