Maps and Illustrations from A General View of the World 1807

Published in 1807, A General View of the World was edited by the Rev. E. Blomfield and published by C. Brightley and T. Kinnersley for Bungay. An interesting book, along the lines of Barclay’s Dictionary, but unfortunately the single volume I found was missing two of it’s fold out maps, and the front and rear boards had become detached.

The maps are :
Africa from the latest Authorities, Asia from the latest Authorities, England and Wales from the best Authorities, Europe from the best Authorities, Germany from the best Authorities, Ireland from the best Authorities (damaged), Scotland from the best Authorities, Sweden Denmark Norway and Finland from the best Authorities, Turkey in Europe and Hungary.
